Michelle Pfeiffer's Toyota RAV4 EV for sale on eBay (misleading headline alert!)
Once or twice a month, a RAV4 EV pops up for sale on eBay. The going rate for these all-electric SUVs ranges between $45,000 and $70,000, depending on things like the age of the batteries. There's always a lot of interest in these unique EVs, but how do you stand out from the small crowd? If you're eBay seller mdahn and have a RAV4 EV for sale, you say Michelle Pfeiffer sat in this particular car. The seller claims his wife parks the car in downtown LA for work, and a crew member working on the new film I Could Never Be Your Woman (starring Pfeiffer) saw the car. Because the director wanted to feature EVs in the movie, mdahn's car was used in some shots. Mdahn admits he doesn't have any proof to show you that this car was used in the film, but is it really worth it to lie about something like this? There's usually plenty of people who want a real, full-sized electric car without resorting to hype.
This RAV4 EV has 48,000 miles on it and is a standard 2002 RAV4 EV and seems to be in pretty good shape. There are a lot more pictures over at eBay, where the current bid is $45,000.

Calling someone a liar is a pretty serious accusation.
Do you have proof that it is a lie?
If not, aren't you resorting to false accusations and hype to make your article more interesting?
