Natural Fuel raises $80m in float
Natural Fuel, a major Australian biodiesel producer which is now 50 percent owned by Babcock & Brown Environmental Investments Ltd., says that it has raised AUD$80 million / US$62 million in its public share offer ahead of listing on the Australian Stock Exchange this week. Natural Fuel's first biodiesel production facility has recently undergone the wet phase of commissioning. Located in the northern Australian port of Darwin, Natural Fuel describes the location as being ideal in terms of its global supply chain and logistics. The basic production module was constructed at Henderson, Western Australia and was transported by ship to Darwin.
Construction has also recently been initiated on Natural Fuel's three biodiesel plants at its Singapore facility on Jurong Island, capable of producing a total of 680 million litres / 180 million gallons per annum of biodiesel. The Singapore plants are expected to enter production during the fourth quarter of 2007. Natural Fuel utilises palm oil and other raw oils to produce its biodiesel.

Climate Change, Nuclear Power, Polution and Waste are the future drivers of our society. All threaten us and all are man made. Kyoto and Global solutions have major shortcomings. In the main this is because they are Global solutions and not Continental solutions. Australia is the lucky Continent as our existance will eventually be governed by a sustainability index of Head of Population/ Kilometer of coast.
