5.) No Tesla CUV, But Zap! will build the Lotus APX with batteries
An all-electric SUV (or CUV) that has 600 hp and looks like the Lotus APX would have a LOT of buyers, according to our readers. Of course, this car still exists more in press releases than in testing labs, so all those ready to shell out big bucks for the APX EV have time to save up.

4.) New Monopoly game board features Toyota Prius
Who needs to announce a new car when the Prius name is so powerful that the addition of a Prius token to the Monopoly board game is enough to get people talking. Seriously. 145 comments on post about a board game on a green car site? I didn't know so many of you were BoardGameGeek afficionadoes.
3.) Death Car: Ford HySeries Edge almost kills the president

2.) Tesla Roadster unveiled in Santa Monica
Vary good reception for a very cool car. The Tesla Roadster is the car that made electric vehicles cool, droolworthy even. We know our readers care what happens with the Roadster (even if most of us will never be able to afford one), and AutoblogGreen has been following the news from Tesla HQ ever since the unveiling.

1.) Detroit Auto Show: It's here. GM's plug-in hybrid is the Chevy Volt Concept
There's no question GM's announcement of the Chevy Volt was our top story of the year. Just look at how the news of this car spread everywhere. It's no surprise the Volt made a splash, either. If GM can deliver on the hype built up back in January, then this car will be seen as the most important for the company - maybe even the domestic automakers - in decades. But there's a long road between now and then. We shall see, we shall see.

He is another web sight to stay away from and it is ...usabuiltev.com ... this is another scam web sight by Fred Barlow alias Bobby Barlow ect. This guy will take your deposit and tell you over and over that your car is being built and you will never see it.This guy produces nothing period ,he is a scam artist where consumers have lost thousands of dollars by ordering and receiving nothing and he web sight states 100% money back gaurantee....WRONG.

Consumers BEWARE...Avoid any contact with this organization,they will take your money and receive NO car what so ever.Veiw other sights to verify concern at www.electriccars.com under electric car fraud.I have heard there is a buisness somewhere in the north country that invested money with a Fred Barlow and never got a car after I think a year.

Does anyone know who this BRUCE GAST at Electric Vehicles is? Apparently he got cheated by some guy named Butler and then went on a crusade like he was the CIA. He shows a big showroom on his website but he runs a business out of a trailer house in Carson City, Nevada and has numerous websites, mostly porno. I read a report where he was banned from doing business in Nevada in 2005 and where some guy stopped to see his cars and there were none, just a trailer house at the address he uses. Does anyone have a picture of this trailer house? or info on Bruce Jeffery Gast? Sounds like a fraud that should be on his fraud alert! HAS ANYONE BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY? It would be very interesting to learn the background of this guy and his current businesses....is he even legal?

Jim Johnson is an alias for Bruce Gast of Carson Cty, Nevada, who runs porno websites and a fraudulent site on gas and electric vehicles. The state of Nevada should be investigating him since he was banned from doing business in Nevada in 2005.

Avoid contact with these sights,q-ev.com,q.electricvehicles.com,purevehicles.com,usabuiltev.com,Fred Barlow aka Steve Howard is promoting the Bandit car and the Bandit 2 along with the Icon.There are NO CARS period and they are taking the consumers money by the day everywhere.As for Bruce Gast.. They are legit at electriccars.com and been to there facility,Dave Carlson sounds like he is a alias for Fred Barlow which he will soon be in jail along side of Jason Butler and and Barlows girlfriend.How I found out about this Barlow guy is that he scammed money from a michigan dealer and also a gentleman who bought and won on ebay and never got his car, same thing in michigan and this guy had a dealer contract.

David,,, The only sight that has electricvehicles.com is the huge scam artist Fred Barlow aka Steve Howard(q.electricvehicles.com),he will take your money,lie to over and over and has never had a car yet,Bruce Gast has a hugh electric car buisness and a respectable one.Fred Barlow is banned from ebay and who know where elese.Any other question you my want answered is call manufacturer mfg in gilroy california and they will also fill you in.

The scum bag Fred Barlow aka Steve Howard aka?? has removed all of his web sights,must be on the run or the scum bag is taking a break from his fraudulant acts for awhile but like the old saying goes you can run but you can't hide forever.Anyone that has been swindled by Fred Barlow contact the following police departments..Huntington beach PD,GardenGrove PD,Fullerton PD,And detective Cox at the Orange County Sheriff Department. Fred Barlow has scammed many and needs to be put behind bars.

PS. I'm busting up about the comment about me living in a trailer!!! haha, that's absolutely TRUE!!! My wife and I sold our beautiful home in so cal so that I could continue to invest years and over $500,000 into ElectricCars.com... So WE DO LIVE, in well, not exactly a trailer... it's a top of the line trilpe manufactured home, wet bar, 1/3 acre... gone up in value in 2008 (more than I can say for our house!) So, if anyone has any doubts that electric vehicles aren't worth a couple years of living "meager" let me know, because after 14 years committed to this industry I sure could use some wisdom!!!???
ps. I should have been a basketball player... or soccer... bringing EV's to market is not a big payoff...yet!!!

Well, I think people need to go look at these web sites...And watch the movie ("Who Killed The Electric Car") There are Thousands of people out there right now driving Electric Cars and not paying a dime for Gas or Oil and they are not charging their Electric cars with Coal or hooked up to the "Grid"...They power their own cars and homes with Solar, Wind, Turbine, Water or Wave power that is all Free!
