Watch "Who Killed The Electric Car?" online - for now
Don't know how long it'll be until this video is snagged and sent off to Guantanamo, but at least right now you can watch the full-length movie "Who Killed The Electric Car?" through Google video (by clicking the play button above). It's easy to assume that most of the AutoblogGreen readership has seen this movie, but I'm curious to see if I'm right. So, would you mind taking the poll here?
Thanks.

Let's not jump to the conclusion that when a documentary is uploaded as a postage stamp-sized video on the web it's a BAD thing. I'm a documentary film director - my work has aired across the country on public television stations (over 500 times at last count) and has been distributed internationally. Piracy laws IMHO are best directed at those who would mass duplicate programs on DVD and profit from them. There is also the matter of something called "Fair Use." I won't get into a legal argument here but I just wanted to say that, as a documentary film maker, my number one priority is to get out the message in my films to the people that need to hear it. If I had directed this important movie (to be clear, I DID NOT) I'd want it posted on this website and many others. My goal as a director is not to get rich off of the sale of DVDs or airings on PBS - anyone making documentaries for that reason is dillusional and misguided - my sincere hope is to simply spread the word. If someone then wants to support my future efforts by buying the DVD, that's greatly appreciated!

Sebastian,
Let's not contribute to piracy by helping them distribute something that isn't there's, which may in turn cut profits for the people involved in making this picture, some of whom actually engineered the car.

Delete the topic or redirect it where you can buy the DVD.
If you can buy it?

Buy it here. Let's not pirate this important work further.

I never got to see the movie until it came out on DVD, then I immediately bought it.
My question. . . What happened to the "Future Crush" documentary that used to be posted on Google Video? It there for a long time, and as far as I knew it was a free video, not pirated. Now I can't find it.
I tended to assume that the "Who Killed" movie was a more professional derivative or follow-on to Future Crush, since they were so similar. But I don't actually know who produced it.

Here's the FutureCrusH video, which is essentially the second part of the movie "Who Killed The Electric Car?".
