Low Carbon Vehicle Technology Exhibition in Leeds (UK)

Cenex, the British public-private consortium in charge of moving companies to reduce the CO2 imprint on the atmosphere is hosting a one-day exhibition and seminar on Low Carbon Vehicle Technology, at the Leeds United Football Club on Friday 20th July.

Cenex runs a knowledge transfer network that helps companies to share low carbon and fuel cell technology and also promotes activities that demonstrate the technologies and in this event, they will promote the reduction of transport CO2 emissions, in collaboration with Leeds Council. The council has already "hybridized" some vans (Ford Transit) and part of the bus fleet.

The exhibition will include vehicle demonstrations throughout the day and visitors will be even able to test drive hybrid and electric vehicles and demonstrations, and discuss other benefits associated with low carbon technologies, such as reduced air pollution and engine noise.
