Video: Nissan's electric prototype, the Mixim
Nissan's EV concept, the Mixim, has a YouTube page. There is one video but there is very little information in it, unless the news is that Nissan is developing technology to change your environment into a big video game. There is one interesting thing, though: it seems Nissan thinks you would rather have web videos and DVDs instead of a speed indicator just behind your steering wheel. I don't know the lyrics to the song but I think it's "shake it, shake it." I am not sure what the text "1 percent cute, 99 percent evil" means either. Perhaps we'll find out more when the Mixim bows in at the Frankfurt Auto Show September 13.

it should be "1% cute, 99% uglier then anything any Chinese automotive company has ever come up with as a concept design"
Nissan SHIFT_ugly
Judging by the video it is clear that the designers were given an unhealthy dosage of illegal hallucinogens in an effort to bring out their creativity

Different strokes and all that: I kinda like it (more than the Volt anyway).
I think it would be very exciting if a major automaker actually had the balls to put out a real production EV. I suppose it would only be competing with the Th!nk.

KC, isn't Nissan Japanese?
Also, this video is completely aimed at younger people, as is the car. This is just a cheap effort to make Nissan "hip and green."

Pretty sure they're saying "Shift it, Shift it."

I'm pretty sure they're saying, "We're going to eat GM's lunch and we're not going to try anything so absolutely stupid as charging people weekly to use the battery." そですね

@ Joseph
Why yes, Nissan is Japanese with a hint of French. But, it is the Chinese who are world renowned for coming up with hideously ugly concept cars. That is until Japan's #2 Automaker Nissan created the 'melting on a hot summers day turd with glass shards in it' concept that is the Mixim.
