1kW bird safe home wind turbine available
The prospect of wind power is highly appealing as a source of clean renewable energy. A lot of people would love to be able to stick a wind mill in the yard for some extra juice. The problem is that traditional wind turbines are large and some of them may be dangerous to birds. Mariah Power has devised one that takes up very little real estate and shouldn't pose a hazard. The thirty foot tall WindSpire is only two feet wide and generates 1 kW. It works in winds of 8mph and up and can generate 1900 kWh a year with a 12 mph average wind speed. The WindSpire runs $3,995 and if you can get some tax breaks you might get a reasonable pay back time and help charge your new EV.

We are the designer, developer, and fabricator of small wind energy products that the company sells online. We have a growing dealer network of individuals who use the products. Customers have found the Home Wind Turbine kits to be easy to deploy and understand. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers. They are able to do this with no further investment and they see how easy people are to get interested. Mariah is a vertical design and although it's cool looking, it isn't as effective as a proven three bladed horizontal design like we sell at WindEnergy7.com.

You could generate 5400kWh annually using Motorwind Turbines for the same amount that cost you to generate 1900kWh using Windspire.

i would like to have information about motor wind turbines... i already know the basic working of these turbines... but its kind of awkward that gearing is beneficial cause usually gearing creates losses???
