Kelly Blue Book names its 10 greenest vehicles,

In honor of Earth Day last week, the team over at Kelly Blue Book sat down to generate its annual list of the greenest cars available on the U.S. market. The list goes beyond just fuel efficiency, as the editors selected vehicles from a cross section of the overall vehicle market. Thus, the Chevrolet Silverado hybrid appears on the list along with the easy choices like the Toyota Prius and Honda Insight. In total, only six of the ten vehicles are hybrids. Two normally aspirated small cars, the Honda Fit and MINI Cooper, made the list based on highly efficient gas engines. Two German cars made the list with diesel engines, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI and the BMW 335d. Ford also made the list with both of its hybrid models, the Escape CUV and Fusion sedan.

A couple of diesels made the list. Any of them would be fine for me.

I suspect that only cars available everywhere in the US made the list. There aren't very many CNG cars for sale in the US - and at least the Civic GX isn't sold in all US markets. Anyone know if there are any new CNG cars currently sold everywhere in the US?

Yea, they wanted to list cars you could actually buy.
P.S. Our local BMW dealer has 159 new vehicles, one of which is a 335d. I guess that means it qualifies. Barely.
