Following up on Coda Automotive's announcement the other day about closing its Series B funding round, we've received an update from Marketing and Communications director Kara Saltness. One of the investors in the Series B round was former treasury secretary Henry Paulson. Apparently, Paulson will have more of a role with the company than simply an investor. Paulson will be an advisor to the company on its dealings in China.
Ms. Saltness tells ABG
Henry Paulson is now an advisor to the company and will be providing guidance on Coda's work with Chinese companies. With extensive business and political ties to China, Mr. Paulson will be a valued asset as Coda continues to build global partnerships. The company's advisory board is also being filled out with the addition of Mack McLarty, Tom Steyer, and Dr. Thomas Cardello.

Can they just make it look less like a Nissan Sentra so I can start to like it?

Yeah, please change that front. The rest of the car seems good enough.

This is how it goes: you care about how the car looks when you buy it... shortly after... you mostly care about the comfort and performance. So, can everyone quit crying about the "front"?

Not surprising this guy lands at a company full of former Goldman Execs. These people engineered the biggest scam on the American people in history. Using our money to save their own companies and then make record profits...
I'm not worried about the front of the car. The biggest issue is the ethics and morals at work here. These people are crooks and think of no one but themselves. Where is anyone that is passionate about something other than money at this company?

Hi,
Its an *electric* car so it doesn't have to have large radiators to dump 80+% of the energy it uses (i.e. it wastes 80+% immediately) into the air! It doesn't have to give up the huge aero drag to have those radiators!
It *should* look different -- its an electric car.
Sincerely, Neil

Yes a grille is unneeded on a BEV, but that drooping upper lip looks ugly and a 3mph crash will trash the hood as well as the bumper. Grille-less cars can still look attractive, see the original Infinity Q45 and the GM EV-1.

Okay, agreed -- though I think they wanted a seamless surface up onto the hood?
Hey -- it has a 12v lead/acid battery under the hood? How yesterday...
