Tesla Motors continues its exploration of the Old Continent with a new shop open in Münich, Germany, today (Thursday, Sept. 10th), right before the introduction of the Tesla Roadster Sport model. The shop opens its doors after the first one on the European side of the Atlantic, in London, but before the one set for Monaco which should arrive before the end of the year. Because of its location in one of the largest German cities as well as being close to Switzerland and Austria, the Münich store could reach beyond the German market. According to Tesla, the company expects to split sales 50/50 between Europe and North America before too long.

I'd love to see some pictures of the Münich store, just for curiosity sake.
Also, it's great to see Tesla expanding it's "Stores" and spreading across the globe in only a short time. Now I'm waiting for them to open a store in Texas or Colorado so people living in the mid-west can have a closer store than California.
I'd guess they will be opening (or at least announcing) stores somewhere in mid-America in 5 years or so if the Model S and Codename BlueStar are to reach a wider audience. However, only time will tell.

Please... call it either Munich or München.
Using extra umlauts in English words isn't funny or edgy, it just looks retarded and makes it hard to read for anyone actually speaking German.

Seems Tesla has quickly become a global brand.

Should the store's sign say TESLÄ?

Will the München store have any Model S (prototypes)?

think there is only one drivable model s at the moment, but I believe it was on hand for the NY opening.. I doubt it would be shipped for a german opening...
the model S is something else for sure, such a pretty car with usable range!
