Actually the car does have a range of 2,250 miles. That's when it stops working to wait for it's next scheduled maintenance. The actual range on the batteries has in fact not been revealed.

the range has to be an error as well. factor 10 overstated perhaps.
otherwise it could well be true.
I know what happened. Oman bought exclusive rights to the EESTOR super-capacitor technology for a billion dollars.

Did I mention that the massage chairs run on geothermal energy?
I'm sure it means 200-250 miles and from the price and specs it seems like a telsa sort of set up. It might also be that motors (probably 2) can put that out both running beyond rated capacity, but 'normal' power output is only half this much perhaps 2x 200kW motors.
Another reason to take peak oil seriously is the Gulf states interest in renewables, EV's and nuclear power
Yea, I guess nobody could ever design anything with specs any better than the current Tesla product. Nevermind that the Tesla roadster is based upon an AC Propulsion TZero that was originally designed in the 1990's.
Nah, we must all rightfully automatically assume that the specs of any future car must be limited to just what is already being sold.

Seriously, I don't see any justification for the limitations you claim.
I know where they made a mistake... Battery AmpHours (Ah) are not added to each other when connecting cells in series XD

The super-efficient 800 HP motor shouldn't have too much trouble pushing a giant battery on wheels to 60 in 4 seconds. Just put a saddle on the top or something and ride it like Slim Pickens on a bomb ;)
Also, the electric Mini with 4 in-wheel motors makes 640 HP (160 HP at each wheel). It's not too far fetched to think they could increase the HP by 40 on each wheel, yielding 800 HP. I'm not sure, though, how they are counting the horses.
