Following in the footsteps of Leonardo DiCaprio and whoever Ashton Kutcher plays on Two And A Half Man, the just-turned-18 Justin Bieber is ready to roll in a Fisker Karma. The teen pop star appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today and was surprised by his manager with the plug-in hybrid birthday present. His manager, Scooter Braun, told him on the show:
The young singer was suitably impressed. You can see the video after the jump.
You work really really hard. I always yell at you, 'Don't get anything flashy!' You know, we're not about that. Be humble, be humble. And I kind of broke my own rule. We wanted to make sure since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out... I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. That's a Fisker Karma.
Bieber tweeted that "[Ellen] and all of you are amazing" and now his "Belieber" followers are both discovering the car – "I now know what a Fisker Karma is, thanks to #Beiber" – and discussing, um, other aspects. Not everyone is impressed.
