Mercedes Benz launches C250 CDI BlueEfficiency Prime Edition

Mercedes Benz is launching a new version of the C-Class sedan this fall with a 204 hp version of the company's new 2.2L four cylinder diesel. The C250 CDI BlueEfficiency Prime Edition is powered by a dual turbo version of the common rail injected engine. The addition of the second turbocharger also boosts torque output to 369 lb-ft. That's good enough to match the output of the similarly-configured 2.0L engine used by BMW in a variety of models, including the 123d.
