Borg Warner announces new single-speed eGearDrive transmission for Coda electric sedan

Somewhat LEGO-like, the details of the all-electric 2010 Coda Sedan are coming together. We learned earlier this summer that the EV will use a 100 kW / 134 hp motor from UQM. This week, BorgWarner announced that its eGearDrive single-speed transmission will find a home under the hood of the electric vehicle, which will be introduced in California next year.
