Lotus to create OMINVORE research engine for next gen biofuels

Lotus Engineering has just announced the next step in its efforts to develop greener automotive technology. The British engineering consultancy will be creating a new research engine that will be aimed at helping to optimize engine designs for new generation bio-alcohol fuels. The OMNIVORE (as in eats everything) will be a single cylinder research engine used to test combustion with a variety of fuels.
