Toyota announces three diesel variants for the Avensis

Toyota has decided to stir the European diesel market a little bit more and will now offering three diesel Avensis models, the marque's flagship sedan. This is the model that is sold elsewhere as the Acura TSX, albeit with more luxury equipment. All three powertrains are Euro-V compliant and they all have common-rail direct injection, with fourth-generation piezo-electric injectors which raise the pressure to 2000 bar - like the BMW 730d, actually.
